Blackwell Publishing, Malden, MA, (19 Nov):1364-5072, (2009).

Impact/Purpose:

To obtain needed data on the dry thermal resistance of Bacillus anthracis spores and other Bacillus species for waste incinerator applications. These results provide evidence to support the use of G. stearothermophilus and B. atrophaeus as indicator species for B. anthracis when conducting dry thermal destruction research or in the actual incineration of waste contaminated with B. anthracis spores.
